The link between linear selection and decay rate: monostable cases

摘要：In this talk, we will discuss the relation between linear determinacy and the decay rate of travelling wave solutions. We will also show a sufficient and necessary condition to detertime the propagation speed of weak-strong type competition systems.

报告人简介：周茂林，教授，国家特聘青年专家，2009年在南开大学获得学士学位，2012年和2014年在东京大学分别获得硕士、博士学位，师从国际分析学家Hiroshi Matano教授。2014年至2016年在澳大利亚新英格兰大学跟随杜一宏教授做董事长战略博士后，2017年获得DECRA（Discovery Early Career Researcher Award）特任研究员。目前为南开大学陈省身数学研究所研究员，主要研究兴趣包括非线性椭圆型和抛物型偏微分方程、自由边界问题及其应用。已在JMPA、AIHP、SIAM、IUMJ、JFA、CVPDE、JDDE、JDE等国际数学期刊发表学术论文20余篇。
